Epic Statement by President Jonathan on presidential election 2015 [A Must Read]

Official statement by president Jonathan after the announcement of the results of presidential election
Fellow Nigerians,

I thank you all for turning out en-masse for the March 28 General Elections. I promised the country free and fair elections. I have kept my word. I have also expanded the space for Nigerians to participate in the democratic process. That is one legacy I will like to see endure.

Although some people have expressed mixed feelings about the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I urge those who may feel aggrieved to follow due process based on our constitution and our electoral laws, in seeking redress.

This is contained in a statement released in Abuja on Tuesday and signed by Malam Garba Shehu, Director Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation.

It warned that anybody happy with the victory of the APC in the presidential election will not be involved in the molestation of opponents or the destruction of their property.
The statement quoted Buhari as saying that Nigerians have chosen him and his party through their votes, saying that they should remain calm. Continue after the cut...

Read Prof. Jega's epic response to Orubebe this morning

After PDP party agent Godsday Orubebe created an embarrassing scene at the collation centre in Abuja this morning, trying to disrupt announcement of results (read here) a very calm Jega told him;
"Mr Orubebe, you are a former Minister of the Federal Republic .You are a statesman in your own right. You should be careful about what you say or what allegations or accusations you make. Certainly you should be careful about your public conduct"
Jega's response to Orubebe has been hailed as mature and worthy of praise. In fact, there's a meaning for Jega now. 'Jega' - meaning - 'To be inexplicably chilled in the midst of stupidity or conflict". lol. Prof Jega's full response after the cut...

PDP official disrupts INEC result announcement, says Jega is partial and has been compromised

The PDP party agent at the Collation center in Abuja, Elder Godswill Orubebe is currently staging a protest at the INEC result collation center alleging that Prof Jega has been compromised. According to him, Professor Jega has been selective, partial and is tribalistic. He said APC had written a letter to INEC concerning an alleged rigging in Rivers state which he immediately sent a committee to investigate the issue but that when PDP wrote protest letters on the elections in Katsina, Kaduna and Jigawa, Jega did not send anyone to attend to their protest.

Orubebe, who is a former Minister of Niger Delta, is now calling for Jega to stop result collation. He sat on stage and refused to allow the result announcement to continue...

"10 Foods To Improve Your Eyesight" - ENB Living Healthy and Effective tips

Protecting your eyes have a lot to do with the food on your plate. Are you eating the foods that are best for your eyes? Those of us with healthy eyes tend to take eye health for granted. Instead of waiting until our vision gets poor, let’s take a look at our diets to improve our eyes.
The best way to improve your eyesight is through the foods you eat. Here are 10 foods that are sure to improve your overall eye health.

1. Green Vegetables: Eat as many leafy greens per day as possible — and make sure not to overcook them as they can lose some of their valuable nutrients. Vegetables such as spinach, broccoli and kale — are known to prevent loss of vision.

Falola Ajumobi, who was adjudged the Best Graduating student at the recently held 27th convocation ceremony of the Rivers state University of Science and Technology, RSUST, says one of the things he had to do to achieve his academic feat was to distance himself from women. He said he doesn't even shake hands with women. Huh?. Falola, who graduated as a Petroleum Engineer with a CGPA of 4.82 says he was also very religious while on campus
"There is no way students of the opposite sex would not have passed glances at me. But I am a very religious person; I don’t shake hands with ladies and right from time, they know me for that. So, the only thing is that we greet from a distance. That does not mean that we do not crack jokes because that has made them to know me" he told Punch
