According to BBC Africa, Ivorian president Alassane Quattara is giving each member of
the Ivory Coast 23-man Squad team, a house worth $52,000, and same amount in cash for
their AFCON 2015 victory.
The Ivorian Football
Federation and the team's technical staff also got rewards. In all, the
Ivorian government gave out $3million in celebration of the victory.
Meanwhile, the Ghanaian team who lost to Ivory Coast, also got rewards. Each player is being given $25,000 by the
team's sponsor, the state-owned Ghana National Petroleum Corporation
(GNPC).
