ABU Zaria First Nigerian University To Manufacture Cars [SEE PHOTOS]

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria break the record as being the first Nigerian university to produce home made cars. The cars were commissioned yesterday, Friday 13th march at around 4pm. They were manufactured as a collaboration between the faculty of engineering (mechanical engineering) and shell Nigeria, the cars were named as ABUCAR 1 & ABUCAR 2.     Good achievement, zero aesthetics, no glass...wrong use of the word manufacture, is it mass production...coz this is not the first Nigerian car historically

    Like seriously! Am sorry, But what's there to be proud of? This is a sign we're still so backward. A university proud of making a car? Even a high school grad overseas should cover his face doing such a car like this. God is in control

      So what now? D university should be ashamed of making a car or what? This not overseas, this is Nigeria, learn to deal with our realities and stop all these comparisons, it won't take us anywhere. God is definitely not in control of your thoughts; they're hateful!

    when a player score a goal it is celebrated a mist the white as if non has ever score such. pls let motivate them with our good speech since our govt is not ready to make them proud. The operating environment for development in Nigeria is not encouraging.

    There is no regret in trial, encouragement is what makes success, it really shows that we are improving and Nigeria University engineering technical skills are growing vast and speed. Please do not be discourage by the losers, China and Japan started from some where, so there is no crime in your sense of humor. God will keep your dream and effort beyond all expectation in Jesus name
